As of August 2007, our Swiss wines,
beer and spirits are
featured in restaurants, clubs and bars, and available in many wine and
liquor stores in the states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky, New York and
Massachusetts.
Soon, we will open a subsidiary in Florida for the distribution of our
wines and beer. And Arkansas should follow in the fall. You can find

Cave de La Côte – DuBaril Chasselas Romand
From
selected vineyards in Romandie, Western Switzerland, in the cantons of
Vaud and Geneva. This wine is made from the Chasselas grape, a
traditional and uniquely Swiss varietal. A well balanced wine.
Vintage: 2004
Bouquet: white
peach, flowers and lemon-blossom.
Palate:
fresh and round. Hints of white fruit and pineapple. Dry with a touch
of sweetness.
Serve:
as aperitif, with first courses, fish, cheese and cheese dishes, and
mild and assorted meats.

Cave de La Côte – Oenoline La Côte
(Chasselas)
From
selected vineyards of the La Côte region along Lac Léman (Lake Geneva),
in Romandie, Western Switzerland. This wine is made from the Chasselas
grape, a traditional and uniquely Swiss varietal. A very versatile wine.
Vintage: 2004
Bouquet: flowers
and fresh fruits, evoking lemon-blossom, flowers and white peach or
lemon.
Palate:
smooth, fruity, light taste of caramel and coffee. Slight flinty
character. A full and complete wine. Dry.

Domaine
Chatelanat - Clos de la Dame Féchy (Chasselas)
Clos de la Dame is a century-old
label of the Domaine Chatelanat, a family-owned vineyard by Lake Geneva,
western Switzerland. The village of Féchy, also the appellation of this
wine, is located within the La Côte appellation.
Bouquet: dense, with notes of spices and southern aromas.
Palate: dry, rich and fruity, with a long finish; creamy.
Serve: as aperitif, with fish either grilled or in a cream
sauce, cheese and cheese dishes.

de Montmollin - Neuchâtel (Chasselas)
The De Montmollin family has
been growing vines along the shores of Lake Neuchâtel since the 16th
century. A thirst-quenching wine made from the Chasselas grape.
Bouquet: vine blossom, mineral, lime-tree aroma.
Palate: hints of citrus fruit, dry
Serve: as aperitif, with cheese, fish and seafood.

From Aigle,
a medieval city in the heart of the famous Chablais wine region in
southwestern Switzerland, in the canton of Vaud. From a century-old
family-owned winery. Today, a mother-daughter team can be credited with
the winery’s great success. This wine is made from the Chasselas grape,
a traditional and uniquely Swiss varietal. Vintage: 2004
Bouquet: light
and fine aroma. Subtle flavor of lemon-blossom, citrus and white peach.
Palate:
soft and fresh, surprising with its flowery taste reminiscent of
lemon-blossom. Dry. Very balanced.

- Yvorne (Chasselas)
From Yvorne
in the famous Chablais wine region in southwestern Switzerland, in the
canton of Vaud. From a century-old family-owned winery. Today, a

From the steep vineyards of
Antagnes, a charming village of the Chablais region overseeing the Rhône
Valley. A beautiful marriage between soil and vine.
Bouquet: floral, fruity and long, with a flinty character.
Palate: fruity, elegant and subtle, with hints of grilled
almonds. Intense finish and light tannins.
Serve: as aperitif, with fish, white meat and cheese.

Viticole d’Ollon – Saint-Triphon (Chasselas)
From the lone hill of Saint-Triphon,
in the middle of the Rhône Valley, well-known for its black marble
quarries; it’s also the bedrock under the vineyards.
Bouquet: floral and elegant, with a mineral finesse.
Palate: soft, fruity, round. Beautiful harmony between
body, fruit and minerals. Spicy notes on the finish.
Serve: as aperitif, with fish, asparagus and white meat.

Frères Dubois et Fils – La Braise d’Enfer Epesses (Chasselas)
This “Ember of Hell” is a
Chasselas from the Lavaux area along Lake Geneva. In ancient times, the
steep vineyards were unstable, resulting in frequent landslides. Often,
winegrowers would find their stone walls destroyed in the spring, and
thought the devil resided under their vineyards.
Bouquet: expressive, with notes of flint and grilled almond.
Palate: generous, with a lot of character and terroir.
Serve: young (1-3 years), ideal as an aperitif and with
fish and white meat; later ideal with cheese.

Frères Dubois et Fils – "De la Tour" Dézaley-Marsens Grand Cru
(Chasselas)
The king of Chasselas wines,
from the steepest slopes along Lake Geneva, in the Lavaux region, where
the vineyards are cultivated in terraces, supported by stone walls, and
where the sun shines three times: on the vine, the walls and the lake.
Bouquet: dense and expressive, notes of honey, hazelnut and
toasted bread.
Palate: powerful, rich, fruity and complex with a long
finish.
Serve: young (1-3 years), ideal as an aperitif and with
fish; later ideal with cheese.

Adrian
Mathier - Fendant Coteau de Sierre (Chasselas)
The Mathier family has traced
back its roots to 1387 in the town of Salgesch, a charming wine
producing community. More than 600 years of winemaking tradition unites
our family with Salgesch. The Fendant is the Valais white wine “par
excellence” and it is made only from the Chasselas grape.
Bouquet: light green aromas.
Palate: refreshing, elegant, and dry.
Serve: excellent as aperitif, with hors d’oeuvres, fish, salads,
and cheese dishes such as fondue or raclette.

Rouvinez
- Fendant de Sierre Valais (Chasselas)
The Rouvinez family enjoys an outstanding
reputation for their wines. This is the family that took over Orsat
winery, once a leading Valais producer. A highly drinkable and easy
drinking wine. The colour is light yellow with slight grey and greenish
sheen.
Bouquet: this is a floral
wine with a strong bouquet.
Palate: possesses a delicate fruity flavour. Fine, light,
fruity and harmonious.
Serve: as aperitif, with cheese dishes and fish.

Angelo
Delea - Chiar di Luna Bianco di Merlot
Bianco di Merlot from Ticino,
the Italian speaking region of southern Switzerland. Made of Merlot
grapes vinified in white. One of the few white Merlots produced in the
world.
Bouquet: light, reminiscent of a mix of muted citrus and peach.
Palate: dry and crisp, very low acidity.
Serve: with fish and white meat.

Chevalley - Pinot Grigio
The Pinot Gris grapes for this
wine come from different regions of Switzerland. A light, refreshing and
aromatic wine.
Bouquet: notes of flowers and ripe exotic fruits.
Palate: good structure, round and full.
Serve: as aperitif, with starters, white meat, cheese, risotto,
and asparagus.

de La Côte – Chardonnay Sélection de Romandie
Swiss wine from vineyards along
Lake Geneva and the Rhône river. Clay and limestone soils are a perfect
fit for this well-known varietal. A light, European-style Chardonnay.

vanilla aroma,

Palate: supple,
full, round and ample. Well balanced with a beautiful structure.

Swiss wine from selected
vineyards of the La Côte region along Lake Geneva. An American-style
Chardonnay.

Cidis SA – Gewurztraminer Pays de Vaud
From selected vineyards along
Lake Geneva in western Switzerland.
Bouquet: aromatic
with intense floral scent of rose.
Palate: dry,
smooth, distinct aromas, crystallized fruits (pineapple, apricot, white
peach).
Serve:
as aperitif, with foie gras, seafood, white truffle, sauerkraut, sweet
and sour dishes, and cheese.

Adrian Mathier – Ambassadeur Fumé Gros Rhin Valais
Our Ambassadeur Fumé is produced
with Gros Rhin grapes (also known as Johannisberg) grown in the village
of Chamoson, in southwestern Switzerland. After experimenting for 5
years, we managed to process this white wine like a red one by
fermenting it during the maceration. It is then aged in oak for 6
months. This vinification process is undoubtedly a world innovation.
Tasting notes: Great complexity; sharpness, tannins and a touch
of vanilla perfect themselves outstandingly.
Serve: ideal with salmon and seafood, in particular with
scampi.

Petite Arvine Chamoson
From
Chamoson, in south western Switzerland, in the heart of the canton of
Valais. The Petite Arvine is an authentic Swiss varietal and a Swiss
specialty. From a 120 year-old family-owned vineyard. All grapes for
this wine come from the winery’s own properties. Vintage: 2003
Bouquet:
dominated by citrus, rhubarb and wisteria.
Palate:
soft, developing on a solid structure with a somewhat salty finish.
Serve:
with veal, poultry in sauce, seafood, and aged dry cheeses, as well as
an aperitif.

Germanier - Amigne de Vétroz Valais
The Amigne
is a Swiss indigenous varietal with only 33 hectares (81.5 acres)
planted, of which 28 ha are in the charming village of Vétroz.
Bouquet: dense and fruity, with aromas of citrus and tangerine.
Palate: very fresh, perfect balance between sugar and
acidity, hints of tannins on the finish.
Serve: with medium soft cheeses, white meat and grilled
scallops.

St.Jodernkellerei - Heida Visperterminen
This unique
wine comes from Europe’s highest vineyards (3,770 ft) located in the
village of Visperterminen, not far away from the famous Zermatt resort.
It is justly named the pearl of the Alpine wines and is the pride of the
Visper valley vine growers.
Bouquet:
Palate: medium-bodied, harmonious with a good balance.
Serve: with cheese, cold meats, or as an exclusive
aperitif wine.

Aargau
Charmont is a
hybrid Swiss varietal created from the Chasselas and Chardonnay grapes
that produces good results in colder climates. This wine comes from the
Aargau region in northern Switzerland.

Palate: fresh and fruity.

Gamay Romand
From
selected vineyards in Romandie, Western Switzerland, in the cantons of
Vaud and Geneva. This rosé of Gamay is obtained by a short maceration,
and then a racking and a pressing as for the white grapes. A very
versatile, easy wine, it accompanies many dishes well, and one should
always have a bottle on hand. Vintage: 2004

flavors evoking cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant.
Palate:
smooth, unctuous, fruity. With very light acidity and a touch of tannin.

Cave de La Côte – Oenoline Salvagnin La Côte
From
selected vineyards of the La Côte region along Lac Léman (Lake Geneva),
in Romandie, Western Switzerland. Salvagnin is the vaudois red wine «par
excellence». It can be made with various varietals, including Gamay,
Pinot Noir, Gamaret and Garanoir. In this case, it is a blend of 60%
Pinot Noir and 40% Gamay. Great versatile wine, it accompanies very well
a lot of different dishes. Vintage: 2004
Bouquet: red
fruit evoking cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant; light smoky character.
Palate:
rather fruity, smooth, round, very light sharpness, medium tannin, well
balanced and full.

Cave de La Côte – Peissy Rouge
Wine from the Mandement area in
Geneva, western Switzerland. Blend of ~90% Gamay and 10% Gamaret. The
Gamaret is a Swiss cross-breed between the Gamay and Reichensteiner
grapes.
Bouquet: hints of red fruits.
Palate: soft, light/medium-bodied and round with fruity notes;
medium tannins and well-balanced.
Serve: very versatile, with any food not too spicy.

René Favre & Fils – Dôle Chamoson
Swiss Dôle from Chamoson, in
southwestern Switzerland, in the heart of the canton of Valais. From a
120 year-old family-owned vineyard. All grapes for this wine come from
the winery’s own properties.
Tasting notes: a generous, robust wine that nicely
combines terroir and a rustic character along with the fruitiness of red
and black cherries.
Serve: with poultry, veal, Burgundy (beef) fondue, game
and cheese.

Sierre Valais
The Dôle is the Valais red wine
“par excellence”. The vineyards in the Sierre and Salgesch region are
the sunniest in all of Switzerland.
Bouquet: red fruit and soft tannins.
Palate: mild, hints of blackcurrant, and low acidity.
Serve: as aperitif, with hors d’oeuvres and mild pasta.

Rouvinez
- Dôle de Sierre Valais
The Rouvinez family enjoys an excellent
reputation for their wines. This wine is a harmonious blend of Pinot and
Gamay in which the Pinot dominates: it gives body and nobility while the
Gamay brings fruit and vivacity. The resulting wine is balanced, pure
and with a pleasant acidity.
Bouquet: red fruits.
Palate: mild, well-balanced and elegant, with good
acidity.
Serve: with poultry and red meat, especially beef.

Adrian Mathier - Dôle Salquenen Sang de l'Enfer
(Blood from Hell) Valais
“Sang de l’Enfer” translates as
“blood from hell” since the vineyard from which this Dôle originates is
registered in the Salgesch House of Records as „Hell“.
Bouquet: intensive fruit with a light tannic structure.
Palate: elegant, ripe fruit with a soft, velvety finish.
Serve: perfect with fowl, sausage, meat, vegetarian and cheese
dishes.

La Baudelière - Trois Roses Aigle
A wonderful
blend of Pinot Noir, Gamay, Syrah and Mondeuse from Aigle, a medieval
city in the heart of the famous Chablais wine region in southwestern
Switzerland, in the canton of Vaud. From a century-old family-owned
winery. Today, a mother-daughter team can be credited with the winery’s
great success. Vintage: 2002
Bouquet: fruity
Pinot Noir flavor such as raspberry, but also with spice and leather
typical of Syrah and Mondeuse.
Palate:
fruity, with hints of raspberry and cherry. Aging in oak barrels
provides for very ripe aromas and soft tannins. Intense, rare and rich
aromas. Round with character, but approachable even when young.
Serve:
with veal, beef, pork and marinated spareribs, and risotto. Also
refreshing when served slightly chilled in summer.

de La Côte - Clos des Plantaz Pinot Noir Saint-Livres
This Pinot Noir comes from the La Côte
vineyards on the shore of Lake Geneva. Saint-Livres is a little known
appellation with a superior terroir within the Morges AOC. Partially
aged in oak barrels for 6 months.
Bouquet: traditional Pinot
nose, with light smoky aromas.
Palate: round and fruity, with a touch of earthiness.
Serve: an ideal companion to meat and cheese.

de Montmollin - Pinot Noir Neuchâtel
Light Pinot Noir from the shores
of Lake Neuchâtel.
Bouquet: aroma of
small wild berries, slightly smoked.
Palate: well
structured, marked by the tannins while young, becoming full and
generous after 2 to 3 years.
Serve:
excellent with white and red meat, as well as cheese.

Vin du Diable – Vin du Diable (Devil’s Wine) Cortaillod
In 1806, the victor of
Austerlitz, General Oudinot, is visiting Colonel Vouga in Cortaillod,
Switzerland. After enjoying a few too many glasses of the famous red
wine “Côtes”, he falls from his horse and shouts out, “Your wine,
Colonel, is from the devil”. Pinot Noir from Lake Neuchâtel area. Aged 9
months in small oak barrels.
Bouquet: fruity,
complex, with a soft vanilla touch.
Palate: rich,
ripe red fruits, soft tannins.
Serve:
with non-marinated red meat and cheese.

Valais
Reigning as the
master of the vineyards in the Canton of Valais in southwestern
Switzerland, the Pinot Noir has found a diversity of soil types and
micro climates along the mountainsides multiplying its gustatory
characteristics.

Palate: ripe fruit, soft and smooth.

Mathier - Lucifer Pinot Noir Valais
“Lucifer” translates as “Devil”
since the vineyard from which it originates is registered in the
Salgesch House of Records as „Hell“. Carefully selected grapes and great
exposition give Lucifer a great bouquet, a gentle appearance, and a deep
ruby red shine from a well exposed vineyard.
Bouquet: fresh red berries.
Palate: ripe fruit, light tannic structure.
Serve: perfect with meat and cheese.

Pinot Noir
from Chamoson, in southwestern Switzerland, in the heart of the canton

opening on rich aromas of red fruit (strawberry, cherry) and evolving
toward floral (lilac, violet) and spice (licorice, black pepper).

Renommée St-Pierre
Incredible Pinot Noir
from Chamoson, in southwestern Switzerland, in the heart of the canton
of Valais. From a 120 year-old family-owned vineyard. This wine was aged
18 months in oak barrels and represents the traditional craft of wine
making perfectly combined with the advantages of 21st century
integrated technology. All grapes for this wine come from the winery’s
own properties. Vintage: 1999
Bouquet: opens on
red fruit, spice (curry, ginger) and smoked licorice.
Palate:
silky, with soft tannins from oak aging. Licorice, cherry cedar, and
flint.
Serve:
the perfect friend of any kind of meat, ideal with duck, rabbit, and

Adrian
Mathier - Ambassadeur des Domaines
This wine is exclusively
produced on our “Domaine de la Raspille”. We strictly limit the yield
and make the vintage only during the years when the grapes reach a
certain sweetness. It is aged 14 months in oak barrels. Our Ambassadeur
ranked fourth among 850 Pinot Noirs from 18 countries at the recent wine
tasting competition “Mondial du Pinot Noir ‘03”.
Bouquet: ripe strawberries; noblesse, elegance of oak.
Palate: round and decided. Silky tannic structure.
Serve: with a slender loin of beef or a roasted duck with orange
sauce. Decant before serving.

Association Viticole d’Ollon – Rubis Noir Ollon
From the beautiful village of
Ollon in southwestern Switzerland. Aged in barrels for 12 months. A
blend of 52% Pinot Noir, 19% Gamaret, 19% Garanoir, 5% Cabernet
Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc.
Bouquet: ample, with intense red fruit aromas.
Palate: vigorous and rich, with spicy notes. Complex fruit
aromas with subtle oak flavors.
Serve: with red meat, game and hard crust cheeses.

Madame Rosmarie Mathier Rouge
This wine is aged in oak casks.
The Cabernet Sauvignon gives a fruity taste, the Humagne Rouge a dry and
rustic taste, and the Syrah a fine note of pepper, while the Pinot Noir
connects these three grapes with its elegance.
Bouquet:
note of black
currant.
Palate: rustic
and wild character.
Serve:

Blend from the Mendrisiotto in

of these two varietals (70% Cabernet Franc, 30% Syrah) are vinified
separately and blended after fermentation, with aging for 24 months in
new French oak. A collector’s wine!

Mathier – Malvoisie La Valaisanne
The Malvoisie, also known as
Pinot Grigio, is a late harvest grape (26 Brix). Since the juice is
highly concentrated, only part of its sugar is transformed into alcohol,
which gives the wine a natural sweetness.
Bouquet:
naturally sweet. Intense, honey and almond flavors.
Palate:
elegant, full-bodied.
Serve:
as an aperitif, with dessert and pastry.

Meylan - Cryo
Wonderful sweet wine from a
small winery in Ollon, in the famous Chablais wine region in
southwestern Switzerland. The grapes are frozen before pressing.
Bouquet: aroma of peach and vanilla with a touch of lemon.
Palate: very fruity, not overly sweet; one can find the taste of
the grape.
Serve: as aperitif, with ice cream, fruit-based desserts, blue
cheeses, foie gras.

Jean-René
Germanier – Mitis Amigne de Vétroz Valais
Mitis means ripe and sweet in
Latin. This wine is a late harvest Amigne. The grapes are harvested
between mid-November and mid-December at 150° Oechsle. Fermentation in
new French oak and aging in the same barrels for 18 months. Residual
sugar of 110 g/l in 2001.
Bouquet: complex and intense. Very fruity (quince marmalade,
ripe pears); notes of honey and slight botrytis aroma.
Palate: a powerful, generous and round wine. Very fresh with a
wonderful balance between sugar, alcohol and acidity.
Serve: ideal on its own, or with fruit pies, foie gras and blue
cheese.

Appenzeller
Bier - Quöllfrisch
A premium, non-pasteurized,
lager beer. Get a taste from the quality of life in Appenzell, eastern
Switzerland. Brewed in the region’s only brewery with carefully selected
ingredients and fresh springwater from the Alpstein mountains. Made by a
120+ year old, family-owned brewery, the Brauerei Locher.
Ingredients: springwater, malt, hops.
Packaging: this beer comes in 10-packs of 330 ml (= 11.2 fl oz)
bottles.
To our
knowledge, this is the only Swiss beer currently available in the US,
and we plan on importing a larger selection of fine Swiss beers in 2006.

Appenzeller Holzfass-Bier
This unique beer is aged up to 4
months in old oak barrels, which provides for its inimitable character.
The unique blend of Pilsner, Wiener and Caramel malts creates a
full-bodied and full-flavored beer. A special cream lager classified as
specialty malt beverage by the US government.
Ingredients: springwater, malt, hop, yeast; unfiltered.
Packaging: this beer comes in cases of 15 bottles of 330 ml (=
11.2 fl oz).
The Holzfass will become available in the US in
April 2006.

proof or 45%.
