Thank you for visiting Swiss Cellars! Take a few moments to surf our site and learn about our wines, beer and brandies. We are sure you will enjoy reading about great wines from a small country. And please remember that Swiss products are world-famous for their highest quality.

Beside our Swiss beers and distilled spirits, Swiss Cellars has been busy over the last three years diversifying its portfolio beyond Swiss wines. We now have a fine selection of over 400 French, Italian, Spanish, Washingtonian, Californian, Chilean, South African, Australian and New Zealander wines, including a line of organic wines from France, Italy and Spain, and a line of fair trade wines, as well as fine French liqueurs and brandies, many of which are imported directly.

July 2007: lots of great news this month:
- Our container of Swiss wine and beer has finally arrived - after much unnecessary delay caused by US Customs
- Our
Swiss beers (both the Quoellfrisch and the Holzfass) are now available in New Work City. They are already available at a few restaurants, including Swizz, Seppi's, Mont Blanc and Cafe Centro.
- Our Petite Arvine from René Favre & Fils in Valais received a very nice
review from Crush, a prominent NYC retailer
- Several of our wines and our Quöllfrisch beer were featured at the Manhattan First of August Celebration on July 27
- We added yet more Swiss wines to our portfolio with:
  - a
Diolinoir by Cave au Soleil Levant (Savièse, VS)
  - a
Pinot Noir from the Saint-Livres AOC near Morges (La Côte) by C. Jotterand/Cave de La Côte
  - a Fendant and a Dôle from Sierre by
Rouvinez

Spring 2007: our Swiss grappa has finally been approved and is now available in the US. The Angelo Delea - Grappa della Vallemaggia is a soft, smooth, aromatic and elegant grappa with honey aromas on the finish.

May 2006: we are finally introducing a 2nd Swiss beer on the US market, the Holzfass-Bier from the Locher brewery in Appenzell, eastern Switzerland. It is a special cream lager aged up to 4 months in old oak barrels.

December 2005: we are receiving several new Swiss wines this month, including an entry Fendant and three Swiss German wines. To follow soon also the 2nd Swiss beer on the US market, the Holzfass from the Locher Brewery in Appenzell.

June 2005: for the first time in the US, we are introducing the white wine Heida, grown in Europe's highest vineyards (at 3,770 ft), not far from the famous Zermatt resort. Try it!

With 55+ wines, 2 Swiss beers, and 6 fine eaux-de-vie or fruit brandies (Kirsch, apple, Kernobst, blue plum and Williams pear) and grappa, our portfolio of Swiss beverages is the largest in the country!

Have you ever tasted a Gamaret, the rising star of Swiss red wines? It is a hybrid of the red Gamay and the white Reichensteiner. It's a very nice dark-colored, robust, full-bodied red wine. It was rated ****/90 pts in the May 2005 edition of Beverage Dynamics. So was our Domaine du Diable - Vin du Diable Pinot Noir from Cortaillod (Neuchâtel region). Give them a try!

We currently distribute our wines in Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky, New York, and parts of New Jersey, and our beer and eau-de-vie in Wisconsin and Illinois. Florida coming soon. If you live in another state and would like to get any of our products, make sure to contact us. Shipping is possible to many states. Please contact us for more information and pricing. We work with retailers who ship inter-state. We will gladly inform you about the shipping options.

Would you like to be notified about upcoming tastings, events and new arrivals? Yes, then please send us an email, indicating your name, address and email address.
